Not too long ago, I picked up my first-ever pair of Golden Goose sneakers (and shared them first in this post!), and got tons of questions from you guys ever since. So many that I decided it was finally time to do a full write-up! Back in April, I found a deal for $385.43 instead of paying the full $513.91.

How is the fit?
They ran true to size for me — I usually wear a size 6, and I went with a EU 36.

How comfy are they?
They felt good almost immediately. No-show socks help with the break-in period, especially since my feet get sweaty. Top-quality leather, so it’s much more comfortable than breaking in fake leather. Plus, they’re already softened so your feet just get comfortable fast.
How do they perform over time?
Since they come pre-distressed, I didn’t worry about scuffing them more. I’ve worn them all over the city, and they still look great. The laces are intact, and the structure feels strong. Since the aesthetic is distressed, I can’t even tell if there’s new wear and tear.
How do they compare to other sneakers?
These are the best sneakers I own. I’ve tried others like Vejas, but Golden Goose still come out on top. They have a hidden arch lift that adds support and height — making your legs look longer. Not to mention, they’re not mass-produced, so each pair is one of a kind. And the sparkle on mine? Absolutely gorgeous.
Would you recommend them?
Yes! Though I suggest looking for a deal. They’re expensive, so getting them discounted is worth it. I’d pay several hundred for the quality, especially if you find a style that suits you. Mine have pink glitter, but a minimalist version would also look great.
